Spot Resistance Welding Electrodes description
The resistivity of copper alloy is lower than that of aluminum alloy, and the thermal conductivity is stronger, so the welding of copper and copper alloy is more difficult, and it needs to output heat and pressure in a short time. Copper alloys with thickness less than 1.5mm are most widely used in production, especially those with low electrical conductivity. Pure copper has high electrical conductivity and is difficult to spot weld.
Resistance spot welding machine electrode composition, the basic composition of a whole spot welding bar can be divided into three parts :1, electrode head; 2, the rod; 3, the tail; The separating electrode comprises only two parts.

The rod is the base of the electrode. In general, the diameter of the electrode body is equal to the diameter of the electrode rod. In electrode processing, also known as electrode diameter, is the basic size of the electrode. The electrode rod has a hexagonal rod in addition to a round rod. The length of the part depends on the welding process.
The electrode tail is the contact part between the electrode and the handle, or directly with the electrode arm. The electrode tail should have certain machining accuracy to reduce the contact resistance, ensure the smooth transfer of welding current and force, and seal without leakage.
It is usually necessary to add a gasket between the electrode and the workpiece or use a composite electrode with tungsten embedded in the electrode tip to reduce heat dissipation to the electrode. The diameter of the tungsten electrode is usually 3-4mm.

Resistance spot welding uses the heat generated when a current passes through a resistor to melt and join two conductive metal parts. The electrodes are mainly composed of pure tungsten, molybdenum and their alloys. The two electrodes press the parts to be welded together and use a strong current to flow through the contact surface of the plate, generating resistive heat and forming a molten pit at the solder joint. Spot welding utilizes higher currents and pressures, allowing a large amount of heat to be focused on the weld for a short time without overheating the rest of the plate. Usually the thickness of the plate is between 0.3mm and 3mm.
Our advantages of spot resistance welding electrodes
Mosaic is a kind of resistance welding electrode, also known as combined electrode. In some cases, the integral electrode can not achieve good results. Mosaic electrodes are a better choice. And the copper inset tungsten copper electrode produced by our company is because of the use of high quality tungsten copper alloy, so it has the incomparable advantage of the general electrode.
Tungsten-copper electrode is made of tungsten-copper alloy as the extreme part, and the rod is made of red copper or chrome-zirconium copper to maintain the characteristics of high conductivity and high heat dissipation. Copper inlaid tungsten copper electrode has the characteristics of long service life when welding copper wire, copper braided wire, copper piece, copper pole lug and carbon brush holder.
Spot Resistance Welding Electrodes application
Electronic spot welding machine, collision welding machine, hot press, ultrasonic welding machine and other welding equipment. Used for USB cable welding, data cable welding, FPC+PCB welding, FFC+PCB welding, FPC+ touch screen welding. Electronic precision spot welding is widely used in the precision welding process in the electronic industry. Such as welding, high frequency communications components patch welding welding transformer fuses, SMD inductor, mini speaker wire welding, induction welding, buzzer of IC card coil wire welding, receiver wire welding, the speaker wire welding, welding wire welding, antenna lead the headset, microphone, acoustic, hands-free headset wire welding line, vibration motors Ring welding, motor motor, clock coil welding, module components and PCB welding and other small coil electronic components of the contact welding.
